The 1/3-inch size contributes to the high sensitivity and signaltonoise ratio. These CCDs are capable of both interlace scan and progressive scan, which is useful for recording still images or shooting a moving subject and exporting a frame of the image as a still picture to a PC.

New 12x Zoom Lens
This newly developed 12x lens with a 58 mm filter diameter allows the DSR-PD150 to achieve high picture quality as a 1/3-inch CCD camcorder. The camcorder has 530 lines of horizontal resolution, allowing you to capture your subject in greater detail.

Optical Super SteadyShot™
The DSR-PD150 employs the Super SteadyShot system in which the horizontal and vertical movements are detected independently by the sensors. The prism system located in the front of the lens adjusts and optically compensates for unsteadiness, while maintaining image quality.

2 ch XLR Audio Input and Supplied Monaural Microphone
The DSR-PD150 comes with two XLR audio input connectors for connecting professional microphones. The input level can be selected from Mic/Line/Mic Attenuator positions. 48 V DC power can be supplied. INPUT 1 audio can be recorded on either CH1, or CH1 and CH2 audio tracks (selected by switch).

The DSR-PD150 incorporates three 1/3-inch CCDs with 380,000
pixels (effective 340,000 pixels), while the DSR-PD150P incorporates
three 1/3-inch CCDs with 450,000 pixels (effective 400,000 pixels).

The Samson AM1 camera mountable receiver is Samson's smallest wireless receiver to date and perhaps available in general. Measuring only 2 inches by 1 5/8 inches, this compact receiver operates over the UHF band of frequencies resulting in minimal drop-outs and interference from local radio frequencies. The unit features an audio out, headphone out,

monitor level control, a Mic/Line output switch, Power switch and multi-function LED. The receiver is capable of operating from five to eight hours on a single triple-A battery.

The Samson AL1 is a miniature transmitter with built-in microphone for use with any of the Samson-Micro line of receivers. The transmitter features a built-in unidirectional electret condenser microphone providing sound quality suitable for interviews, presentation, documentary work etc. A sub-mini input allows use of the included MT-350 omnidirectional lavalier microphone. The transmitter operates over the UHF band resulting in minimal drop-outs and radio frequency interference. Also featured are Power and Mute switches, input level control and a two-function LED display. The AL1 features a 14 hour battery life a single triple-A battery.

The Samson AX1 Handheld, Plug-In Transmitter lets you convert any dynamic microphone into a wireless mic. Simply plug a standard, dynamic microphone with an XLR output into the AX1, the signal is then transmitted to the receiver via UHF frequencies. The package includes the Samson R-11 handheld microphone, ready for use with the AX1 transmitter. The transmitter is a little smaller than an XLR connector, leaving it unobtrusive. Like all AirLine transmitters, the AX1 operates on a triple-A battery with 14-hour battery life and delivers reliable reception and transparent sound over long ranges.
